I studied Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic in the eighties, and have been working in a variety of media ever since.
My subject matter is taken mainly from the urban and rural landscape, but I also have a great interest in representing my view of the natural world.
I specialise in collage and mixed media which allows me to express the rhythms and pattern I'm looking for in my subject matter, however I am also happy working in charcoal, oils and acrylics.
More recently I have been experimenting with portraiture and working from the figure, and in 2015 I had two paintings selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition.
I have been involved in a number of solo and mixed exhibitions over the last twenty years.
I have successfully completed around thirty commissions over the last fifteen years and am always ready to enter a dialogue concerning a clients requirements.
